Growing up in a small country town in the Hunter Valley, Heidi would find solace in the pages of her notebooks, scribbling ideas and dreaming of worlds beyond reality.

Life took Heidi to a career in business and while studying a psychology degree, she took a leap of faith, pursuing her love of writing during her final year of university.

With an eclectic collection of notebooks and pens, she can often be found scribbling ideas throughout the various pages as she weaves worlds from the colour, fun and chaos of life.

As the founder of Blackbird Collaborative, Heidi also crafts business and personal copy and content for those looking to tell their own stories and communicate to their clients and community.

Heidi lives in Sydney with her husband and two wild girls. You will find her wandering the local beaches and exploring the city and surrounds in search of inspiration, pastry, and a good strong coffee.
